Where we meet

The tour starts from Library Square, in the heart of the historic city. Nearest car park is Marygate or Bootham Row.

What to bring

Most people shoot on their smartphones. If you've got a Digital SLR camera fantastic but its not a requirement. We can't control the weather so do try to wear appropriate gear and comfortable footwear. Well behaved fur babies that are interested in history are always welcome.

About your guide

Hi I'm John and l developed the Instagrammable York tour for people that want to visit York, see the sights and capture its beauty to share on socials.

There seemed to be lots of history based walking tours but I wanted to combine it with the photographic element. So the tour is deliberately flexible to give you time to get he shots you want. I'm always on hand to give you tip and tricks and entertain you with stories on the way round.
